The program ‘Ruptures’ contains a wide range of 30 years of experimental films (1964-94) created by filmmakers of African descent. They hold polemical and decolonial perspectives on life as black, and their cinematic interventions make use of all sorts of audiovisual techniques, including abstract images, sound, and found footage.
